Mr. Hedden rejoined Third Avenue Management in December 2021 as a Research Analyst on the Third Avenue Value team. From 2012 to 2017, Mr. Hedden was a Research Analyst on the Third Avenue Real Estate team. Prior to rejoining Third Avenue, Mr. Hedden was a Vice President at Madison International, where he sourced special situation investments and oversaw a portfolio of securities for private funds and separately managed accounts. Earlier in his career, Mr. Hedden was an Equity Analyst at Keefe Bruyette & Woods, where he covered a variety of financial sectors, and a generalist focusing on small-cap value opportunities at Timeless Investment Management & Research.

Mr. Hedden holds a B.A. in Economics from Dartmouth College.

He is a CFA Charterholder, and a member of the CFA Society New York.
